HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its commitment to quality, sustainability, and employee growth. Focused on providing outstanding service in the hotel and hospitality industry, HHM Hotels prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment where employees can thrive and customers receive memorable service. As a company, HHM Hotels embraces values such as People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, guiding their operations and culture to ensure success and satisfaction for all stakeholders.

This role is a part-time Barista position at HHM Hotels, offering an hourly wage of $16.50 plus tips. The position is designed to provide quality barista services while adhering to established guest service and sustainability standards, notably HHM’s EarthView program. The Barista will engage directly with guests, taking orders for coffee, beverages, and food, processing payments through the POS system, and preparing orders efficiently and courteously.

The Barista role is integral to the daily operations of the coffee cart, which requires maintaining cleanliness and organization, performing opening and closing duties, and ensuring all equipment is handled with care and used according to safety protocols. Their responsibilities extend to managing transactional processes such as obtaining change, counting the bank at shift’s end, completing cashier reports, and securing funds, all while complying with State, Federal, and Corporate regulations related to food and alcoholic beverages.

Beyond operational excellence, the Barista is expected to actively promote and practice sustainable work habits reflecting the company's EarthView program. This includes adhering to safety standards and wearing protective safety equipment in line with OSHA and MSDS guidelines. The position supports career growth opportunities, with potential paths including advancement to Head Barista, Host or Hostess, and Guest Service Agent roles within the company. HHM Hotels values employees who are dedicated, customer-focused, and eager to develop professionally.

The work schedule varies and may include weekends and holidays, requiring flexibility and stamina as the position involves standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. HHM Hotels provides a comprehensive benefits package to support its employees, including competitive wages, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans with company matches, and wellness resources.

In summary, this Barista position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join a leading hospitality company where service quality, employee wellbeing, and sustainability are paramount. It is ideal for motivated individuals with a passion for coffee, customer service, and hospitality, looking to grow within a respected and supportive company.
