Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous customer service work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekdays only during specific shifts
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Willingness to perform assigned duties including cleaning and maintaining work areas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
- Certification as Starbucks Barista may be required
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic cash handling and sales recording skills
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- Educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas regularly
- Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Walk or stand for extended periods, including shifts that may exceed 8 hours
- Reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Attend work punctually and maintain satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
