The LifeCafe Barista plays a pivotal role in delivering this exceptional service by preparing and serving fresh coffee and espresso drinks according to LifeCafe's recipes and member preferences. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the café. As a LifeCafe Barista, you will be the face of the café, responsible for ensuring each member or customer feels valued and receives personalized, attentive service. Wage for this hourly position starts at $15.00 and can go up to $18.00 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to serving beverages, the Barista engages with members by answering their questions and providing helpful information, thereby enhancing the overall member experience. LifeCafe encourages team members to grow professionally through training and development opportunities and supports a workplace culture that embraces diversity and inclusion. The position requires specific certifications such as ServeSafe certification within the first 60 days and CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire, ensuring safety standards are met. In addition to physical stamina required for bending and lifting over 20 pounds, preferred candidates will have prior experience in a restaurant setting and skills in latte art, bringing creativity and finesse to the role.
