The role of Barista at ISS Guckenheimer is integral to creating an inviting atmosphere for guests by preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas. Besides beverage preparation, the Barista will serve ready-to-eat foods during different meal times, such as pasties, muffins, and biscotti at breakfast, as well as sandwiches and salads during lunch hours. This position is full-time with an hourly wage of $21, and the typical work schedule runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Barista is expected to greet guests warmly and maintain a professional appearance while ensuring all tasks comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
A successful Barista at ISS Guckenheimer will demonstrate a strong passion for customer service by delivering outstanding hospitality and maintaining a friendly, caring demeanor throughout their shift. This person will also work collaboratively with chefs, front-of-house managers, catering managers, and vendors to uphold smooth operations. The role demands the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, keep the work environment clean and sanitized, and meet product inventory standards. Adherence to the company’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies is mandatory, and Baristas will be actively involved in training to promote a safe, compliant workplace.
This position requires physical stamina including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as the ability to remain calm and productive during busy periods. Employees will be responsible for operating equipment correctly, managing cash registers, restocking and rotating products properly, and displaying merchandise attractively. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Capability to stand for long periods during shifts
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Job Duties

- Maintain and sanitize work and service areas
