This full-time Barista role is located at Vanderbilt University Medical Center under Sodexo’s service contract. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.00 and involves weekday morning shifts – specific scheduling details will be provided during the interview process. As a key frontline representative of Sodexo, the Barista is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing a variety of handcrafted coffee and tea beverages. The role requires an individual who is passionate about coffee crafting, enjoys interacting with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Beyond basic drink preparation, the Barista will engage guests by providing personalized and friendly service, explaining menu options, and driving sales through suggestive selling techniques.
