Located at MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM in Somerville, Sodexo is hiring a full-time Barista to join its team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $25.30, with workdays primarily on weekdays and varying shifts, where open availability is preferred. This role is more than just making coffee; it involves delivering exceptional customer service by crafting high-quality hand-made beverages that enhance the daily experiences of guests and staff. As a Barista at Sodexo, you will be instrumental in creating an inviting and efficient environment by preparing a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks, all tailored to customer preferences.

In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly coffee bar and preparation areas, managing inventory and supplies for appealing displays, and handling sales transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Physical stamina is required for this role as it involves significant walking, standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The role also emphasizes punctuality, dependability, and the ability to perform other account-specific duties as assigned.
