Job Requirements

Open availability preferred
must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently
ability to stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods during shifts
must be able to read and visually verify information in various formats
ability to inspect tools, equipment or machines for defects
capable of manipulating objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
must be able to reach above head and below knees, bend, twist, crawl, and stoop
ability to navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
must be able to ascend and descend stairs and service ramps
professional communication skills including clear spoken language and proper telephone etiquette
willing to perform reasonable work tasks as assigned
high school diploma or GED

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to operate MICROS point-of-sale system or willingness to learn
basic food and beverage preparation skills
customer service orientation
good communication skills
ability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
familiarity with safety and hygiene standards
ability to follow established procedures and protocols
teamwork and respectful attitude towards colleagues
capacity to maintain a professional appearance
ability to manage cash transactions accurately

Job Duties

Organize opening and closing tasks such as arranging provisions and necessary instruments
clean equipment and work areas thoroughly
secure doors and premises at closing
restock and maintain work areas
enter customer orders in the MICROS point-of-sale system
prepare food and coffee beverages
ensure timely operation of appliances like coffee machines
clean tables and café cart areas regularly
maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
manage cash registers, compute cash at the end of shifts, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, issue receipts and secure the cash register
follow company safety policies and procedures
report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries promptly
maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
respect and support colleagues ensuring teamwork
adhere to quality assurance standards
perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for long periods, and maneuvering in confined spaces
greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
complete reasonable work tasks as assigned by supervisors
