Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- possess or obtain a current ServSafe Certification
- basic math and computer skills
- must be able to stand and walk for entire shifts
- ability to operate espresso machinery using hands
- able to detect and perceive coffee smell
- able to communicate frequently with customers
- must be fluent in English
- ability to occasionally lift or move heavy weights
- willing to work more than 40 hours a week at times

Job Duties
- Create memorable and impeccable customer service
- smile and greet customers
- create personal relationships with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks
- maintain a pleasant disposition and sense of urgency while working
- be punctual and responsible for shifts and assignments
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- continually educate themselves on all things coffee and current offerings
- taste coffee or tea every shift to develop palate and troubleshoot problems
- maintain highest standards in preparation and serving of drinks and food
- contribute to store profitability by following cash handling and register policies
- help maintain a positive work environment
- guide and train new hires
- seek inefficiencies and offer ideas for improving operations
- identify customer needs and up sell relevant items
- perform other duties as assigned
