Job Description
Jaho is a vibrant and welcoming cafe that has cultivated a strong reputation for its commitment to excellent coffee, tea, and exceptional customer experiences. As a company passionate about quality and community, Jaho thrives on creating a relaxing environment where guests can enjoy world-class beverages alongside carefully curated food selections. Serving premium coffee sourced from all over the world and offering select wines in the evenings, Jaho is more than just a cafe; it is a destination for those who appreciate great taste and great company. The team at Jaho values innovation, continuous learning, and fostering a positive work culture, creating an atmosphere where employees are encouraged to grow alongside the company.
The role of a Barista at Jaho is a unique and dynamic position that combines expert craftsmanship in coffee preparation with outstanding customer service. A Jaho Barista is much more than someone who makes coffee; they are ambassadors of the brand’s ethos, creating memorable interactions and consistently delivering high-quality beverages and food items. From greeting customers with a warm smile to learning their names and favorite drinks, the ideal Barista at Jaho is deeply engaged in cultivating a welcoming community. They maintain not only the cleanliness of their bar but also the highest standards in drink preparation, ensuring every shot of espresso or brewed tea meets precise quality benchmarks.
Baristas at Jaho are expected to be knowledgeable about all aspects of coffee and tea, tasting every batch during their shifts to refine their palate and troubleshoot any potential issues that might arise. This dedication to quality carries into every part of their role, including following best practices for cash handling and contributing positively to the store’s profitability. Cooperation and team spirit are essential, as Baristas also guide and train new hires, always looking for ways to improve operations through Kaizen principles — identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
This full-time position demands punctuality, responsibility for assigned shifts, and physical ability to stand for extended periods and operate equipment safely. Jaho is looking for Baristas who are passionate, engaged, and fun to work with — individuals who take pride in their craft and foster a positive work environment. Those who thrive here appreciate coffee, tea, great food, and the social, cultural experiences that come with working in a bustling cafe setting. Joining Jaho means becoming part of a team that loves what they do and takes pride in serving the community with warmth and expertise. The employment type is full-time, and while salary details are not disclosed, Jaho offers a progressive atmosphere focused on employee growth and satisfaction.
