The Barista position at SodexoMagic, located at Daimler Trucks HQ in Portland, offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. As a full-time weekday role, this job comes with a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour. The barista role involves more than just making coffee; it is about creating memorable experiences for guests through friendly, personalized service and expertly prepared drinks.

In this role, the barista will greet guests warmly, prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks, always considering customer preferences. They will maintain smooth and speedy service flows by managing the coffee bar supplies, keeping the station clean, and educating guests about menu items while encouraging upselling. Efficiency in handling transactions, recording sales, and managing cash registers is also critical. The physical demands include standing or walking for extended shifts of up to 8 hours, and the ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
