Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- Work experience related to customer service
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Availability for varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or equivalent experience
- Related work experience in customer service
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- Starbucks Barista certification may be required
Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, fruit smoothies, etc., according to customer specifications
- Maintain good relationships with customers and ensure timely delivery of all drinks and food
- Educate customers about menu offerings and initiate suggestive sales
- Organize supplies and cups/mugs on the coffee cart/bar in an attractive manner
- Regularly clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation zones
- Record all sales, handle cash, operate a cash register, and follow all cash handling procedures as required
- Perform substantial walking or foot circulation
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, often over 8 hours
- Reach, bend, squat, push and/or pull, frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- Attend work and report for scheduled shifts punctually with sufficient regularity
- Perform other assigned tasks which may vary according to the business needs and client requirements
