Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- customer service related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
- frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- customer service related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- Starbucks baristas may be required to be certified
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, considering customer specifications
- maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays
- clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas
- record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures as required
