Job Requirements

Must be a minimum of 17 years of age
ability to learn quickly
ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
strong interpersonal skills
ability to work as part of a team
ability to build relationships
physical abilities and stamina to perform essential functions including stooping, reaching, lifting equipment and supplies, and standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous customer service experience in a food service environment preferred
ability to learn quickly
ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
strong interpersonal skills
ability to work as part of a team
ability to build relationships
physical abilities and stamina to perform essential functions including stooping, reaching, lifting equipment and supplies, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

Preparing hot and cold beverages to serve
serving packaged and prepared foods
compiling routine food orders
receiving and putting away deliveries
cleaning and sanitation
operation of computerized POS for transactions
serving hot coffee and tea beverages
use and operate all appropriate equipment
react politely and quickly to requests, queries, issues, and grievances
accept cash and credit card transactions correctly, following proper funds practices
display a deep knowledge of all menu options
follow all applicable health and safety rules
supports Starbucks’ culture, values, and goals
capable of working under duress while maintaining a calm disposition
keeps the business in good order and predicts the demands of the customers
clean, organize, and stock supplies and facility
