Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers according to Starbucks' standards
  • consistently maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies
  • provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • educate customers on Starbucks' products and offerings, including seasonal promotions and new menu items
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for customers
  • collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods
  • continuously learn and improve coffee-making techniques and stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products
  • assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
  • maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even during busy and stressful times
  • ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times
  • uphold the Starbucks brand and image by maintaining a professional appearance and behavior
  • handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • attend training sessions and meetings as required
  • adhere to all safety and security procedures, including proper handling of hot liquids and equipment
  • take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
