Job Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers according to Starbucks' standards
- consistently maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies
- provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- educate customers on Starbucks' products and offerings, including seasonal promotions and new menu items
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for customers
- collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods
- continuously learn and improve coffee-making techniques and stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products
- assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even during busy and stressful times
- ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times
- uphold the Starbucks brand and image by maintaining a professional appearance and behavior
- handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- attend training sessions and meetings as required
