Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and drink recipes is a plus
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages and service
- flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly demeanor
- provide recommendations on coffee blends, brewing methods, and specialty drinks
- prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based drinks according to established recipes and standards
- operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- clean and sanitize coffee machines, countertops, utensils, and other equipment regularly
- handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately and efficiently
- work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
