Job Requirements

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cash handling experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Previous Starbucks/barista experience an asset
Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate

Job Duties

Provides excellent guest service while making quality, hand-crafted beverages
Responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas, gelatos, and menu items
Prepares and sells coffee drinks, such as espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques
Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments
transports monies to and from the main Credit cage
Delivers guest orders
Ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responds to guest complaints
Maintains equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance
Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products
Maintains a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters
