Job Requirements
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cash handling experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
- Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Previous Starbucks/barista experience an asset
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
- Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service while making quality, hand-crafted beverages
- Responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas, gelatos, and menu items
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks, such as espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques
- Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments
- transports monies to and from the main Credit cage
- Delivers guest orders
- Ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responds to guest complaints
- Maintains equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance
- Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products
- Maintains a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters
