Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of barista or related café experience
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working in a small, dynamic café environment
Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous barista or café experience preferred
Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques
Strong customer service skills with a hospitality-first mindset
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Greet hotel guests and outside customers in a warm, engaging, and professional manner
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee, teas, fresh juices, pastries, and grab-and-go items
Deliver prompt, attentive service consistent with boutique hotel hospitality standards
Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions whenever possible
Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to recipes and presentation standards
Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and POS system accurately
Plate and serve pastries, light breakfast items, and pre-packaged offerings
Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing café environment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Complete opening and closing checklists
Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisor
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Represent The Pantry and Farmer's Table Boca brand values at all times
Collaborate with hotel front desk and restaurant team to ensure seamless guest experience
Support special events, group bookings, and seasonal promotions
Participate in training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
