Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of barista or related café experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a small, dynamic café environment
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista or café experience preferred
  • Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques
  • Strong customer service skills with a hospitality-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Greet hotel guests and outside customers in a warm, engaging, and professional manner
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee, teas, fresh juices, pastries, and grab-and-go items
  • Deliver prompt, attentive service consistent with boutique hotel hospitality standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions whenever possible
  • Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and POS system accurately
  • Plate and serve pastries, light breakfast items, and pre-packaged offerings
  • Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing café environment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisor
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Represent The Pantry and Farmer's Table Boca brand values at all times
  • Collaborate with hotel front desk and restaurant team to ensure seamless guest experience
  • Support special events, group bookings, and seasonal promotions
  • Participate in training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
