Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of barista or related café experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a small, dynamic café environment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

- Previous barista or café experience preferred
- Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a hospitality-first mindset

- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Greet hotel guests and outside customers in a warm, engaging, and professional manner
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee, teas, fresh juices, pastries, and grab-and-go items
- Deliver prompt, attentive service consistent with boutique hotel hospitality standards
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions whenever possible
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and POS system accurately
- Plate and serve pastries, light breakfast items, and pre-packaged offerings
- Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing café environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisor
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Represent The Pantry and Farmer's Table Boca brand values at all times
- Collaborate with hotel front desk and restaurant team to ensure seamless guest experience
- Support special events, group bookings, and seasonal promotions
- Participate in training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
