- excellent verbal communication skills
- encouraged but not required background in food and beverage services
- ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task
- basic computer skills and/or capacity to learn technology
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on feet for extended periods
- may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs
- flexible to work evenings and/or weekends
- willing to work approximately 20 hours per week
- available for special events or emergencies

Job Duties
- Exhibit excellent guest service
- complete all necessary training as provided by management and trainers
- operate POS system including cash, credit and gift card handling
- safely handle equipment and tools
- brew coffee
- make various beverages
- take to-go orders
- perform opening and closing side-work
- develop drink and food knowledge
- maintain and restock pastry case checking freshness and quality
- maintain barista area to meet quality and health standards
