Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to prepare coffee and espresso drinks
  • customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of HACCP food safety guidelines
  • ability to handle cash and operate POS
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • must be friendly and customer-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in coffee preparation or customer service preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
  • enters orders accurately into point-of-sale device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • cleans workstation and equipment thoroughly
  • greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
  • communicates customer concerns to supervisors
  • serves customers efficiently to prevent delays
  • explains menu items accurately to customers
  • advocates selling techniques and assists customer purchasing decisions
  • merchandises display foods attractively
  • serves food neatly and attractively
  • may serve alcoholic beverages while maintaining required certifications
  • performs other duties as assigned
