Job Requirements
- Previous work experience as a barista or waiter/waitress preferred
- hands-on experience with brewing equipment preferred
- knowledge of sanitation regulations
- basic math skills
- ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- excellent communication skills
- precise hand-eye coordination
- keen attention to detail
- requires repetitive hand/arm motion
- requires frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs
- requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- standing/walking for 6-8 hours at a time minimum
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or waiter/waitress preferred
- warm, friendly, and hospitable attitude
- must have transportation
Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter the building
- help answer customer questions regarding ingredients
- take orders while paying attention to details such as preferences of light/dark roast, dairy/non dairy and syrup
- prepare beverages according to recipes
- serve beverages and prepared food
- receive and process payments
- keep work area clean
- maintain stock of necessary items
- check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- comply with health and safety regulations
- communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
