This full-time Barista position is based at Medline located at 940 Lively Boulevard, Wood Dale, IL 60191. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with hours that may vary, and further details will be provided during the interview process. The pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with an additional internal employee referral bonus available. The role involves preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items, while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of food safety and quality, including HACCP guidelines. As a Barista at Canteen, you will be responsible for operating point-of-sale devices, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper presentation and portion control of all food and beverages. Customer interaction is a key part of the role, requiring you to greet customers warmly, provide detailed information about menu items, and assist with their purchase decisions. Working efficiently to prevent delays in service and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace are also essential duties.
