- Experience using a point of sale (POS) system
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs

Job Duties
- Follow Bluestone Lane recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
- Manage coffee shop equipment and tool cleaning and maintenance including daily cleaning and periodic maintenance
- Follow Bluestone Lane operating procedures and processes including completing transactions accurately and following safety and security measures
- Dial machine in and maintain consistent espresso extraction per Bluestone Lane brew ratios
- Educate, upsell, and assist locals with menu knowledge quickly and efficiently
- Train and acclimate new baristas to store systems and processes
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and workspace including restocking condiment stations and wiping down tables
- Deliver efficient, high-quality coffee and beverage products
- Manage coffee product rotation, ordering, and quantity to minimize waste
- Complete store opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently
