The Barista position at NEXDINE’s Warren, NJ location is a full-time role scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, offering a competitive hourly wage between $20.00 and $21.00, paid weekly via direct deposit. This role is integral to the customer experience, functioning as the frontline representative who not only prepares and serves a variety of coffee and tea beverages but also ensures the checkout process is smooth and efficient. The Barista is responsible for handling payments including cash, credit cards, and other forms, as well as educating and assisting customers with their purchases. In addition to beverage preparation, this role requires replenishing snacks and restocking coolers, maintaining clean and orderly service areas, and performing general cleaning duties. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with exceptional creative and customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Prior barista experience is preferred, though the emphasis is on a strong customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills. The position reports directly to the Chef Manager, ensuring all operational and customer service standards are met.
