Job Requirements

Ability to commute to Oak Forest, IL 60452
Willingness to relocate to Oak Forest, IL 60452 before starting work
Availability to work day shifts preferred
Passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills
Basic knowledge of food safety standards
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Ability to work both full-time and part-time
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus
Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
A passion for coffee and customer service
Understanding of food safety practices within the food industry

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking their orders accurately and answering any questions they may have about the menu
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and performing regular inventory checks
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the café environment
Engage with customers to create a warm atmosphere, fostering repeat business through excellent service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
