This particular position is for a part-time Starbucks Barista located at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role requires working 24 hours a week with shifts scheduled between 5:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., including variable weekends. The Barista will be responsible for producing a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes made from complex combinations of ingredients according to standardized Starbucks recipes. This role operates in a fast-paced, high volume environment within a healthcare setting, providing an excellent customer experience to patients, visitors, and staff. The barista will utilize specialized kitchen equipment, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and ensure product quality meets established standards. Additionally, the barista is expected to multitask effectively, handling cash operations, stocking, and cleaning, while also preparing for health department inspections.
