Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work part-time 24 hours weekly with variable weekend availability
- Ability to work scheduled shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Must be able to operate specialized kitchen equipment and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and manage cash handling, stocking, and sanitation duties
- Must comply with Corewell Health vaccination requirements and drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
- Food service experience (preferred)
- Cash handling experience (preferred)
Job Duties
- Produce a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from standardized formulas
- Learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Multitask across various roles including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation
- Operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshoot issues or escalate to leadership
- Identify and correct ingredients or finished products that do not meet quality standards
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Prepare for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections
- Create personalized customer experiences and demonstrate product knowledge
- Perform effective service recovery when needed
