The LifeCafe Barista position is an essential role within Life Time’s food and beverage team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service while preparing and serving fresh coffee and espresso beverages. The barista will be responsible for executing coffee and espresso drinks accurately according to LifeCafe’s recipes and specific member requests. Beyond beverage preparation, the barista helps maintain a clean, inviting atmosphere for both members and customers, which contributes to the overall positive experience at LifeCafe. This position requires a commitment to excellence in fast-paced environments, attention to detail, and friendliness toward members and guests. Additionally, the role demands adherence to safety and sanitation standards, including obtaining ServeSafe and CPR/AED certifications within specific timeframes after hire. Job Requirements
- One year of experience as a barista in a coffee shop
- ServeSafe certification obtained within 60 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification obtained within 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend and lift more than 20 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Preferred experience in a restaurant setting

Job Duties
- Execute coffee and espresso drinks according to LifeCafe recipes and member requests
- Ensure cleanliness in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Provide exceptional service to members and customers while answering questions and providing information
- Maintain an inviting and welcoming atmosphere in the LifeCafe
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols while preparing beverages
- Support team members and communicate effectively to enhance service delivery
