The Barista role at Sodexo is a full-time position located at Nationwide Mutual UPA in Columbus, offering a competitive hourly wage between $17 and $19. This role involves providing outstanding customer service and crafting high-quality hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks, often tailored to customer preferences. Baristas are expected to foster strong customer relations through friendly and efficient service, while maintaining a clean and organized workstation including coffee bar supplies and preparation areas. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally, and engage actively with customers during morning shifts on weekdays.

Beyond beverage preparation, the Barista will be responsible for cash handling, operating cash registers, and managing sales transactions with accuracy. Suggestive selling and educating guests about the menu are key components of the role, helping to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
