Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a barista or in a related customer service role
Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous barista experience or strong knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling practices within the food industry is essential
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and customer seating areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions accurately
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency
