Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in a related customer service role
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling practices within the food industry is essential

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and customer seating areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency
