We are currently seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team at the Library Coffee Shop, proudly serving Starbucks products. As a Barista at our hotel, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding coffee experience to our guests. This position is part-time, with shift hours running from 5 AM to 1 PM, requiring availability to work 2-4 days per week. The Barista will be responsible for promptly taking and serving guest orders, performing necessary set-up and side work, answering guest inquiries regarding the menu and beverages, and proficiently operating the electronic cash register, specifically the MICROS P.O.S. system. The role demands a proactive attitude where you anticipate customer needs by continuously evaluating the environment and guest cues, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit for every patron. Job Requirements

Availability to work around peak hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods

Experience as a barista strongly preferred

Job Duties

Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the service manual
Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned
Answer any guest questions about the menu or beverages
Operate the electronic cash register and MICROS P.O.S. system
Anticipate customer and Library needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customer for cues
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
