Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machine operation is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages such as lattes cappuccinos and espressos
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
  • Operate the Point of Sale POS system to process transactions accurately
  • Prepare and serve food items such as pastries and sandwiches
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
