Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in beverage preparation or bartending preferred
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Friendly and energetic demeanor
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 20 pounds
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
  • Must obtain all county required food and alcohol serving certifications prior to employment

Job Duties

  • Accurately, professionally and energetically take beverage orders from guests and servers, recording immediately in our POS system
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Snooze Beverage Doctrine
  • Create a welcoming experience for barista counter guests by learning names and order preferences
  • Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if applicable
  • Maintain bottles, glasses, coffee, and coffee equipment in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including espresso/coffee makers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
  • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the breakfast counter
  • Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
