We are currently seeking a full-time Barista to join our team at the TIAA Cref location in Frisco, Texas. This role is perfect for enthusiastic individuals with prior experience in coffee bar settings who are eager to deliver outstanding beverage and foodservice to our customers. The Barista position requires preparing high-quality coffee and espresso drinks in accordance with established recipes and HACCP guidelines. Alongside beverage preparation, the role involves engaging with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, handling payment transactions accurately, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment.
Your work schedule will generally be from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm with varying days, details of which will be discussed during the interview process. The position offers competitive pay, ranging from 19.00 to 22.00 dollars per hour, reflecting the importance of skilled and dedicated individuals in delivering exceptional service. This role is based onsite at the TIAA Cref office, providing a professional and dynamic environment where your coffee-making expertise will be valued and appreciated.
As a Barista at Eurest, you will not only prepare and serve outstanding coffee and related beverages but also contribute to an exceptional customer service experience. You'll be responsible for accurately entering orders, maintaining inventory of condiments and supplies, ensuring that all food and beverages are presented attractively, and keeping your workstation and equipment sanitary and orderly. Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines
- demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- serves food neatly and attractively per standard
- performs other duties as assigned
