The Barista position at Compass Group’s Fidelity location is a vital role focused on creating superior coffee and espresso beverages and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires hands-on preparation of coffee and related food items, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards such as HACCP guidelines. The successful candidate will interact professionally and warmly with customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming cafe atmosphere. This full-time position operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with additional schedule details provided during the interview. Baristas will be responsible for correctly entering orders into the POS system, handling various payment methods including cash and card transactions, replenishing supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the workspace. Beyond beverage preparation, the role includes merchandising food display attractively and serving customers efficiently to prevent delays.
