The Barista role at Aramark offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and social work environment where employees can engage with customers and contribute to an exciting service culture. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience preferred
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Basic math and counting skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Able to read and communicate in English
Must complete Food Handling Certification when required
Must follow dress code requirements
Capable of physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
Willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE) if required

Job Qualifications

Previous customer service experience is preferred
Previous cash handling experience is preferred
Barista experience is preferred but not required
Basic math and counting skills are required
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Must be able to read, communicate in English, and follow recipes
Must complete Food Handling Certification as required
Must follow required dress code as assigned
Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required

Job Duties

Accurately operate a register/POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions
Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs to ensure a positive experience
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following brand standards
Prepare and serve food items according to location standards
Organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip, and make deposits
Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
Set up and break down coffee bar, stations, or store, ensuring cleanliness and organization
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment
Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, serviceware, and condiments
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food and drink preparation
Perform other duties as assigned by management
