The role of Barista at SSA is pivotal in delivering this seamless guest experience. Reporting to the Food Service Supervisors and Managers, the Barista is responsible for preparing coffee, tea, and other beverages along with food items in alignment with shop standards. This position demands a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and hospitality excellence. The Barista plays an essential role in upholding the 452 Hospitality philosophy by providing warm, welcoming, and memorable service to each guest, contributing to the overall success of SSA’s operations. Job Qualifications
- Barista experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare coffee, tea and other beverages as well as any food items according to shop standards
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee and espresso machines
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities and prep as necessary to ensure efficient service
- Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client
- Meet daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards
- Participate in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste as necessary
- Ensure proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing and glove use with self
- Maintain a SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules
- Actively help to support operation in assigned role, supporting holes as necessary
- Actively and efficiently respond to guest and client feedback, with report to the supervisor to ensure that any potential complaints are mitigate against further occurrence
- Communicate up to the Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager in regard to any issues seen with daily service or quality
- Remain knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures
- Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements
