  • Previous barista experience required
  • Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
  • SERV Safe Certification
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
  • Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis
  • Reading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, stock, and maintain your station continuously throughout the day
  • Greet guests determining their coffee interests and needs
  • Educate guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Use cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing
  • Work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments
  • Complete weekly inventory and order list
  • Clean and maintain all equipment continuously
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
