The role of the Barista at Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. is critical to maintaining and enhancing the customer’s cafe experience. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, customer-focused setting. The selected Barista will be responsible for upholding the company's high standards in coffee preparation, ensuring every beverage served is of excellent quality. Working typically 3-5 shifts each week, the Barista will be involved in both opening and closing procedures, helping to maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the cafe. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn about coffee products and techniques
