Job Requirements

  • Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage

  • Knowledge of food and beverage with passion to cultivate this skill

Job Duties

  • Adhere to The Mark by Jean-Georges values and mission statement while performing job responsibilities
  • Follow company policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook
  • Provide the highest quality service to guests by applying the philosophy 'The client is king'
  • Treat every guest, employee, and vendor with respect and dignity
  • Report to work on time in proper uniform and punch in/out as required
  • Promote teamwork within the restaurant and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Execute all necessary steps of service properly
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant at all times
  • Provide exemplary service using knowledge of the food and beverage menus
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings
  • Complete positional training and participate in monthly training seminars
  • Respond positively to guest requests
  • Perform daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
  • Follow direction from the Chef
  • Maintain constant communication with the Culinary department
