Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Ability to operate cash register and MICROS system
Ability to prepare food and coffee beverages
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
Willingness to adhere to uniform and appearance standards
Commitment to guest service excellence
Ability to pass safety training and certifications
No prior supervisory experience required

Job Duties

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, locking doors
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customers
Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages
Ensure that appliances such as coffee makers are turned on/off at appropriate times
Bus coffee cart areas and tables
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
Obtain change required for expected business level
Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank
Follow safety and security policies and procedures and report accidents or unsafe conditions
Maintain clean and professional personal appearance and protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and verify information
Inspect tools and equipment for defects
Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching
Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
