Job Requirements

  • previous experience as busser, barback, food runner, or expeditor
  • strong work ethic
  • ability to hustle and stay on task
  • knowledge of table settings and service ware
  • ability to keep bar stocked during service
  • service orientation to ensure guest satisfaction
  • comprehensive English language skills
  • good basic math skills
  • ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • safe serv certification
  • valid driver’s license
  • flexible work schedule
  • ability to lift 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • experience in full-service restaurant, bar, or lounge preferred
  • self-directed and able to follow tasks and responsibilities
  • ability to set up, break down, support, and multitask
  • knowledge of hospitality standards and service etiquette

Job Duties

  • set up banquet rooms as instructed by management
  • prepare garnishes and refill ice wells
  • change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws
  • serve food and beverages ensuring proper temperature and timeliness
  • promptly bus dishes and clean tables
  • clean up spills and organize counters
  • reset restaurant, bar, and lounge areas
  • perform side work including replenishing condiments and restocking supplies
  • perform general cleaning tasks following sanitation standards
  • abide by liquor regulations
  • ensure security of guests, employees, and property
  • enforce policies and procedures
  • adapt to additional tasks as assigned
