Job Description

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is a reputable hotel management company known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and exceptional guest experiences. With a strong presence in the hospitality industry, Concord manages a portfolio of hotels and resorts that focus on delivering superior service and memorable stays to guests across various locations. The company prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment that emphasizes the growth and development of its associates, upholding its five Cornerstones: Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and Fun. Concord’s culture is rooted in an 'Associate First' philosophy that encourages personal and professional development, recognizes hard work and dedication, and promotes work-life balance and diversity.

We are actively seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Barbacks within our hotel bar and lounge outlets located at our Concord establishments. The Barback role is essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, as Barbacks frequently represent the first or last point of contact during a guest's visit. Working closely alongside talented bartenders, the Barback supports the overall guest experience by ensuring the bar operates efficiently and with excellent service standards. This role is a crucial team effort that demands a proactive, responsive, and caring attitude, coupled with a friendly smile and cheerful customer service approach.

As a Barback, your responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, assisting in serving food to guests at some locations, and maintaining cleanliness and stock levels based on assigned side work. You will be involved in opening and closing duties at the bar while following all safety guidelines to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff. This position requires dependability, stamina to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), and availability to work a minimum of three days per week, including weekends and holidays. Prior experience in a high-volume food and beverage setting is mandatory, with hotel experience being a preferred qualification.

Working at Concord offers competitive wages with hourly rates ranging from $13.00 to $15.60, depending on experience and performance. Full-time associates gain access to a comprehensive range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability options, 401K retirement plans, tuition assistance, discounted room rates at Concord managed hotels, and opportunities for training, career advancement, and personal growth.

Joining our team means becoming part of a culture that prioritizes associate well-being and professional development. We value and embrace diversity, and strive to provide a positive and inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and contribute to delivering the best customer service and quality accommodations in every market we serve. The Barback position is not only an opportunity to work with a fun and energetic team but also a stepping stone to build your career within the hospitality industry. Concord is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, committed to a drug-free workplace and adherence to federal employment laws, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment for all.
