The resort prides itself on providing a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere that caters to guests seeking both excitement and relaxation. As a family-owned business, Atlantis places a strong emphasis on nurturing meaningful relationships with its guests and the local community. This focus on warmth, personalized service, and a genuine sense of belonging sets Atlantis apart as a leader in the hospitality industry in Reno. The resort combines luxury with a welcoming ambiance, ensuring every guest interaction is memorable and tailored to individual preferences.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join Team Atlantis. The Barback role is integral to maintaining the high standards of service and elegance that our guests expect. As a Barback, you will support the food and beverage operations within various outlets including bars, lounges, and dining areas. This position requires a commitment to safety, health, and sanitation standards while creating a clean and organized environment. The Barback plays a key role in ensuring that all beverage stations are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and condiments. You will be responsible for verifying par levels at the start of each shift and communicating any shortages or needs to management. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable service experience.
This full-time position demands an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail. A basic understanding of wine and spirits, along with general menu knowledge, will enhance your ability to support bartenders and servers effectively. Physical stamina is required as the job involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various movements like stooping and kneeling throughout the shift. At Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. Joining our team means becoming part of a culture that values service excellence, teamwork, and personal growth. We provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you advance your career in hospitality. By working at Atlantis, you contribute to creating extraordinary experiences that captivate and delight our guests, embodying the luxury and dedication our resort is known for.
