The position primarily involves managing inventory and cleanliness behind the bar, ensuring bar staff have everything they need for smooth and efficient service. Barbacks are key contributors to the overall guest experience, supporting bartenders, keeping the bar organized, and adhering to all health, safety, and regulatory policies. Job Duties

  • Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas
  • stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments
  • develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar
  • ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed
  • adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude
  • operate and maintain bar equipment and tools
  • perform other duties as assigned by leadership
