Job Description
Conrad Washington DC is a prestigious Forbes 4-Star hotel strategically located in the heart of urban Washington DC. This stylish and sophisticated hotel is renowned for setting a new standard of luxury within the city. Boasting 360 elegantly designed rooms and suites, Conrad Washington DC offers an opulent experience that caters to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel also features an impressive 32,000 square feet of versatile banquet space ideal for a wide variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large conferences. Guests enjoy a rich dining experience with five distinct food and beverage outlets, which include a signature restaurant, a sleek rooftop bar, a chic lobby bar, an exclusive club lounge, and comprehensive in-room dining services.
As a Seasonal Barback at Conrad Washington DC, you will be a key member of the Food & Beverage team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires open availability and the flexibility to work varying hours based on business needs and seniority within the Local 25 Union. Though the hours vary and full-time hours are not guaranteed, the position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and sophisticated environment while gaining valuable hospitality experience. As a Barback, you help maintain the seamless operation of the bar by preparing fresh ingredients, keeping the bar well-stocked, managing beer kegs and taps, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with regulatory standards. Your contribution directly supports bartenders and ultimately enhances the overall guest service experience.
At Hilton, the parent company of Conrad hotels, we believe exceptional hospitality begins with dedicated team members who bring warmth and professionalism to every interaction. This Barback role is more than a support position; it is a chance to contribute to the light and warmth that define hospitality standards at Conrad Washington DC. Prosper in an award-winning workplace culture recognized worldwide for exceptional employee care, and be part of a global leader in hospitality committed to fostering leadership, integrity, teamwork, ownership, and urgency in service. In addition to competitive pay, medical insurance coverage is available for you and your family, and you will be joining a unionized workforce that values fairness and respect.
