The Stanley Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Barback to join their team. This role is vital to the smooth operation and guest satisfaction of the hotel's bar service. The Barback position offers an hourly rate of $16.50 and entails responsibilities that include setting up, mixing drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, and ensuring top-quality service in adherence to company standards. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Six months bartending experience
- Bartending training and certification
- Ability to lift 20 to 100 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel and maneuver in narrow areas
- Continuous standing required
- Climbing approximately 12 steps 20 percent of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and follow instructions in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to count cash accurately and operate cash register
- Ability to use tact and understanding in customer service situations
- Physical stamina for a strenuous work environment
Job Qualifications
- Bartending training and certification, TIPS certified
- Six months bartending experience
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- Know and comply with state liquor laws
- Ensure established pars are maintained
- Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules
- All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
