The role offered is integral to maintaining the high standards of service at the casino’s bars. As a Barback, you will be the backbone of the beverage service teams, supporting bartenders and servers in delivering fast, friendly, and professional service to guests. Your responsibilities will span stocking and maintaining bar inventory, operating and cleaning equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You will also contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere by promoting casino events and personalized guest service. Your ability to work efficiently in a busy, sometimes noisy environment while upholding health and safety standards is essential.

This position requires a candidate with excellent customer service skills, the ability to respond to visual and oral cues, physical stamina, and a commitment to professional appearance and conduct. Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime is necessary. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Read write legibly understand and speak English
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Able to work in constricting areas
  • Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded noisy environment
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push pull carry and lift over a 100 lbs and the ability to push pull reach bend twist stoop stack crouch kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Job Duties

  • Providing fast friendly professional service to casino guests beverage servers and bartenders
  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
  • Serving as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
  • Promoting casino events and programs
  • Providing personalized service and uses guest name
  • Resolving service problems according to guidelines
  • Maintaining par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
