The role in focus involves providing exceptional service primarily within the casino environment. Team members act as ambassadors of goodwill, working collaboratively with beverage servers, bartenders, supervisors, and other staff members to ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and professional service. Employees are tasked with monitoring guest alcohol consumption, promoting casino events and programs, resolving service issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in designated areas. This role requires maintaining par levels of supplies and equipment, responsibly handling inventory, and operating necessary bar equipment with strict adherence to guidelines and safety protocols.
Successful candidates will be adept at working in a high-energy, often crowded and noisy environment, capable of multitasking, and interacting positively with guests while following company policies regarding professional appearance and service standards. Physical requirements include being able to push, pull, carry, and lift over 100 pounds and perform motions such as bending, twisting, stooping, and balancing in various workspaces, including confined areas.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Able to work in constricting areas
- Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift over a 100 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Job Duties
- Providing fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests, beverage servers and bartenders
- Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- Serving as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- Promoting casino events and programs
- Providing personalized service and uses guest name
- Resolving service problems according to guidelines
- Working well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, other barbacks, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
- Maintaining par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
- Placing liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies and sundries in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures
- Replacing empty draught beer kegs as may be required
- Slicing and pitting fruit, and fills ice bins with crushed or cubed ice from designated ice machines
- Operating and maintaining all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- Removing and properly disposes of all debris accumulated at the bar in accordance with department procedures
- Wiping counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station
- Maintaining cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
