The role of Barback at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District is a pivotal position responsible for maintaining cleanliness, stock, and organization of the bar areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Barback supports the bar team by ensuring that all products including liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items are adequately requested, verified, and stocked. They develop a comprehensive understanding of the bar’s full product range to assist effectively during busy periods, ensuring an efficient flow of service throughout each shift.

Besides logistical responsibilities, the Barback adopts a guest-focused, positive approach to problem resolution, handling customer inquiries with patience and professionalism.
