Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- experience in food and beverage operations preferred
- ability to remain calm and well organized under pressure
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- good time management skills
- basic knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor
- effective communication skills
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand and walk during majority of shift
- comfortable working in a busy, noisy shared space
- ability to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines

- strong interpersonal and guest service skills

Job Duties
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction utilizing the G.U.E.S.T. standards
- assisting bartending staff as needed
- set up a bar thoroughly and swiftly
- maintain service and sanitation standards according to health code regulations
- stock refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer
- replace empty beer kegs with full ones
- slice and pit fruit used to garnish drinks
- wash glasses, bar, and equipment and polish bar fixtures
- clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course
- assist dining room servers in food and beverage service
- set tables
- serve guests as directed by the server
- keep menus clean and maintain a clean table between servings
- assist with providing tables with beverages
- remove solid linens and replace them with clean linen
- transport dirty dishes to dishwashing station
- polish silver and glass as needed
- present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
- seat guests in the dining room
- mop floors
- remove empty bottles and trash
- mix and prepare flavors for mixed drinks
- maintain daily restaurant operations through execution of daily side work
- keep bar area clean and organized at all times
- attend all required training and department meetings
- perform all other duties as assigned, planned or un-planned
