We are currently seeking a diligent and efficient bar back to join our front-of-house team. This role is vital in supporting our bartenders by ensuring the bar area runs smoothly and efficiently to deliver prompt and seamless service to our customers. The bar back will be responsible for a range of tasks including cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, and keeping the bar fully stocked with all necessary liquor, beverages, glassware, and other supplies. You will work closely with bartenders and other staff to uphold the high standards that define our hospitality excellence. This full-time position operates under a service charge pay model and is primarily compensated through commission-based earnings from service charges shared among front-of-house team members, with the possibility of receiving customer tips. As a bar back, your attentiveness and knowledge about our beverage menu will be crucial. You'll be expected to assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe bar area while adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform a variety of physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, and wiping. You will need to be comfortable working varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our high-volume environment.

Your responsibilities will include following recipes and product directions for mixing batched beverages, monitoring taps and appliances to ensure proper function, engaging positively with customers, and assisting in ensuring that cash handling policies are strictly followed. You will play an integral role in creating a positive atmosphere by maintaining a pleasant disposition throughout your shifts and effectively collaborating with your coworkers and management.
