Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a leading global company specializing in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, OVG has rapidly grown to become a powerhouse in the sports and entertainment industry with a platform that spans venue development, venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Their operations encompass an impressive portfolio that includes seven world-class owned venues and a broad client roster of iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This diverse footprint positions OVG uniquely to offer top-notch experiences for live event attendees while supporting the evolving needs of venue operators and partners alike.
OVG is not only focused on delivering exceptional live entertainment experiences but also committed to inclusivity and innovation. The company fosters a diverse workforce, believing strongly that different perspectives lead to better service and higher standards of excellence. They are dedicated to creating workplace environments that celebrate diversity and ensure equal opportunity for all employees.
The Barback position at Oak View Group is a crucial support role within the bar team, playing an integral part in delivering seamless beverage service during a major golf tournament. This is a seasonal opportunity running from April 13th, 2026 through August 13th, 2026, with an hourly wage of $19.00. The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment, where attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential. Barbacks are responsible for stocking and replenishing bar supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, cups, ice, and napkins to ensure bartenders can serve patrons quickly and efficiently.
Additionally, Barbacks assist with the setup and breakdown of bar stations, maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts, and ensure all products are stored properly using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory methods. Physical stamina is necessary as the role requires lifting and carrying heavy items, standing and walking for extended periods and maintaining a safe and sanitary workspace. This position also requires a strong commitment to following company policies and safety guidelines.
OVG encourages candidates with previous barback, bar, or hospitality experience to apply, though prior experience is not mandatory. The company offers a supportive environment where employees can develop their skills, gain valuable experience in live events, and be part of a leading entertainment enterprise. Prospective candidates should demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work long shifts including weekends and tournament days. TABC certification is preferred but not required, and willingness to obtain certification is welcomed. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking for seasonal work in an exciting live event setting with a globally recognized company.
